Their work is contributing to getting more young people doing up to five hours of sport each week, delivered through a range of school, community and club providers..

Between 2003 -2004 and 2007-2008 the percentage of older youngsters taking on sports volunteering roles has increased from 9% to 20%.

The percentage of 5-19 year olds taking part in club sport has also increased from 19% in 2003-2004 to 32% in  2007-2008.
